The Idea

Noticed a gap in the market — talented Vietnamese photographers had amazing work sitting on hard drives, while content creators struggled to find authentic local photography. Decided to build a platform that connects them.

MARCH 2026

Design & Development

Built the entire platform using WordPress, WooCommerce, and modern AI tools. Designed the homepage, shop system, user registration, and photo upload flow. Learned web development, API integration, and UI/UX design in the process.

Content Creation

Published 7 educational articles on photography techniques — camera settings, composition, golden hour, street photography, drone photography in Vietnam, and photo editing workflows. Each article designed to help beginner photographers improve their skills.

MARCH 2026

Beta Launch

Launched Exchange Photo in beta. Listed 20 original photographs across landscape, aerial, portrait, and street categories. Onboarded the first community members and enabled direct photo purchases via contact system.

APRIL 2026

Growing the Community

3 photographers have joined the platform. Built a frontend upload system allowing members to list their own photos for sale. Visitors from 5+ countries have discovered the platform through organic search.

The Road Ahead

Expanding to more photographers across Southeast Asia. Adding coin-based exchange system for peer-to-peer photo trading. Partnering with media outlets and photography schools. Building a sustainable creative community.
